MEET KEVIN
Kevin B. Hartley, is an actor and singer living in Toronto; a member of SAG/AFTRA and ACTRA/CAEA. He was born in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, but grew up and spent much of his life in London, Ontario and area.
Kevin will be playing the role of "Crown Attorney, Idington" in the new TV series "Noose; The Hangman's Tale", now in production with the Akoolfilm Company, for release in 2025.
He has worked on numerous TV productions throughout the years; his most recent credit is as pilot "Lou Beck", on the critically acclaimed TV series "Mayday: Air Crash Investigations". He was also cast with a recurring role in season two of the Netflix series, "The Umbrella Academy" as part of the "Majestic Twelve". Other TV appearances include "The Kennedys", "Nothing Personal", "Warehouse 13", and "Unnatural History".
His film credits include the Governor General of Canada Award winning film "Travelling Alone" (aka in the USA as "Travelling Alone in America"), and the dramatic short film "Wilderness", winner of a Platinum Award for Independent Short Subject-Film & Video - Dramatic, at WorldFest Houston, 2012.
Kevin is often recognized for his many appearances in commercials for McDonald's, Rogers Phone/TV, Home Depot (multiple spots), KMart (multiple spots), and Nestlé, to name a few.
In addition to his film, TV and commercial work, he has appeared on stage, in theaters across Canada, most notably in the premiere Canadian production of the pop/rock musical "Chess", playing "Anatoly Sergeivsky" (music by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus of the pop group ABBA, lyrics by Ulvaeus and Tim Rice). He also played in the first Canadian company production of "Forever Plaid" (Follows Latimer Productions), as "Smudge".
Kevin has studied and honed his craft at workshops and studios in Toronto, NYC, and LA, most notably at Second City, Toronto (Level E improv comedy graduate), and with The Australian Institute for Performing Arts (AIPA), Los Angles.
